“All About Animals” at the library
Our Summer Reading Program “Tales and Tails” events continue at Pleasanton Library in July. Have you been spending time reading during the hot or rainy days reading? You could be eligible for prizes as you reach your goals.
July begins with a bang! Maybe you need an extra side dish for this weekend’s Fourth of July event? This Thursday at 11 a.m. Meals with Melanie will teach your youngsters to fix a healthy snack they can make at home. Melanie will join us for her last program of the summer on Thursday, July 8 at 11 a.m. so don’t miss out. Melanie’s super fun programs are sponsored by Linn County Extension Office. Please call the library if your child plans to attend, so Melanie can provide enough supplies.
Addie’s Animal Tales Storytime continues Thursday, July 1, Tuesday, July 6 at 3:30 p.m. and Thursday, July 8 at 10:30 a.m. Bring your little ones in for a fun animal story read by Addie. No registration required.
Happy Fourth of July – Please note the library will be closed Monday, July 5 in honor of the holiday. Stay safe and visit us Tuesday, July 6 at 10 a.m. for Mad Science of Greater Kansas City’s “All About Animals” science-based activity. Their programs are so much fun, we’re bringing them back later this month and in August.
